M & T know Riverwood Forest Preserve in Genoa very well. It’s a place they’ve spent countless hours hiking together, making it especially meaningful that we chose it for their engagement session. The preserve felt like the perfect backdrop for a couple whose story is rooted in years of memories, adventure, and love.
After nine years together, M & T have the kind of connection that is impossible to miss. When they look at each other there is that unmistakable twinkle in their eyes. The way they laugh together, play together, and naturally gravitate toward one another makes it clear just how much they adore each other.
Their engagement session was such a sweet reminder of why I love what I do. When couples reach out to me for their wedding day, I’m always excited that the engagement session is part of the experience. It gives us the chance to spend time together before the wedding, get comfortable in front of the camera, and, most importantly, connect beyond the wedding timeline and details.
I’m already counting down to 2027 and their wedding day. After getting to know these two during their engagement session, I know their wedding is going to be filled with so much laughter, emotion, and that same beautiful love they’ve shared for the past nine years.
M & T, I’m so honored to be the one documenting this next chapter of your story. I cannot wait for your big day!
