Belle came to me with the sweetest secret, she and her fiancé Misael were eloping in Chicago and wanted a session to capture their love story and freeze this moment in time. From the very first conversation, it was clear how deeply connected they are. They wanted their photos to feel elegant and classic, but also fun, because laughing together comes so naturally to them. Best friends in every sense.
After chatting through locations, I suggested the Chicago Cultural Center and they instantly said, “Let’s do it!” No one else knew they were eloping, so being in on the secret made the day feel even more special. I felt truly honored to be trusted with documenting such an intimate moment.
We spent an hour exploring the Cultural Center, wandering through its stunning architecture while I captured a mix of candid, in-between moments and editorial-style portraits. They dressed the part perfectly, Belle in a beautiful white gown and her fiancé in a classic tuxedo.. timeless, effortless, and so full of love.
